Looks like they're optimistic of C.J's chance of playing this weekend:

Fingers crossed for both of them, this would scare the crap out of anyone's defense.

That's true, but please, don't rush anyone before they're ready.

If Fred Jackson is declared ready to go, Spiller will be scratched.

When they both are back, Spiller has to be the #1 back, sorry Fred, but Spiller is just too big of a threat to take it all the way on any play, to have him getting less carries than another back. I'd like to see Freddie get around 10 carries and Spiller 15+.

The guy is a gamer...you gotta give him that!

I'd be surprised if either is healthy enough to take the pounding so quickly. This week's game is in the hands of Fitz, the defense, and Lindell's foot. If they rush either, or both, of these guys back into action just because it's the Patriots and we end losing one (or both, with our luck) for the season I will be super pissed.

I wouldn't say they're optimistic. Gailey did say it's more likely that he won't play, but just the fact that he's got full range of motion and even has a chance of playing is great news. It sounds like he shouldn't have any problem being ready for the SF game.
