All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Well - you can't crush the snapper - league rules. I'd sacrifice some potential return yardage and pour in from the outside. My opposing line would be active, jumping in and out. Go after him.
Kid may have a lot of potential - but hasn't faced a regular game punt rush.
Re: Rookie punter - how will the opposition play him?
I think the opposition will wait for him to punt and then try to run it back, or if one of our gunners gets to the returner, he will call for a fair catch.

That's kinda the norm. Were I calling the shots against a rookie with a key job like getting off a clean punt, I go for a block or a hurried punt. If the outside gunners scoot away and my outside rushers are untouched, it's a matter of a second or so to see if I get the punter. If I have to fair catch, or see it bounce, I don't care. That happens often enough as is.
If I'm in error, I don't lose that much. If I'm right...
I expected this thread to be satire, given the overreaction surrounding a punters release. Nope.
No satire! A team fielding a rookie punter is a notable thing. Special team good/bad play is a big factor. Clubs routinely target rookies. Powell surely can't recognize line blocking stances etc. like an old vet can.

BB has a mole inside the Bills practices with a video camera. It's been awhile since he got caught the first time, but figures this move is so huge it's worth the risk to get some intel.

Re: Rookie punter - how will the opposition play him?
I mean its his first NFL punt..Its not his first lifetime punt. Puntings probbally the only thing that doesnt change much from high school to the pros haha....The defense is better yes..but so is your protection and center lol. what do you think punters do at practice all week....?

The needle is now pointing decidedly towards satire. Well done sir!
