ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson says he has a team doctor's approval that his sprained right knee is healthy enough to play against New England.

Jackson received the OK before practice Friday, and expects to be ''ready to go'' on Sunday when Buffalo (2-1) hosts the Patriots (1-2). Despite feeling some soreness, he practiced for a third straight day since being hurt in a season-opening loss at the New York Jets on Sept. 9.

I have to believe that, if he's getting doctor's clearance, there's not a risk of being injured further by playing.

Bills should still keep Choice and White active.

Now should I start him fantasy wise?

^ probably not. Its too risky. Go with someone who will get a guaranteed double digit instead of praying that Fjax has a big game

fred jackson has played well given limited tries against the pats. last game being one of his full game chances and he ran great.

i'd prefer to get fred back because he seems to cause BB headaches. but you know what else? i don't think Spiller really was all that injured in the browns game. i think they were being extremely cautious because they could. they were up 14-0 and controlled the tempo on defense. even when the browns started coming back, you had the sense the bills had it under control.

i think if the are both there, you are going to see a good mix of the two depending on how each is feeling. my gut tells me spiller is feeling 100% and that the bills are head gaming with BB.

Spiller has a sprained A/R joint, the only question is what level it's at 1-5 (5 being the worst).

Im starting fjax, and Michael Turner this week in my fantasy league. Drew brees is qb.

Who else do you have at QB...? Dunno if Brees vs the GB defense is a good idea.

That GB-NO game is going to be a shootout. Brees and Rodgers are going to have big days.

I'm thinking the same thing. When Spiller went down last week, I was able to grab Choice off waivers, Friday morning Choice was projected for 10 points and Freddie projected 1 point, when the news came out that Freddie might play, they both went to 5 points. I'm just wondering if they will end up cancelling each other out by splitting carries. Also I'm thinking this may turn into a shootout through the air, I may just go somewhere else and keep away from Freddie and Choice.

Is there a risk that he can cause more severe damage to it ?

Jason La Canfora ‏<s>@</s>JasonLaCanfora (https://twitter.com/JasonLaCanfora) Fred Jackson set to play a significant role Sun for Buffalo. CJ Spiller's status still a little more in doubt. Check <s>@</s>CBSSports (https://twitter.com/CBSSports).com for more

Spiller is my fantasy money RB. My others are Beastmode and Shonn Green. Green sucks, and if Spiller plays he can probably do more in limited capacity than Green in a primary role (which he may not have either). I guess it's a waiting game for me.
