He thinks we can win up front with just 7, even though 2 of the 7 are safeties. Maybe if Dareus/Kyle/Mario/Anderson we're winning up front every single down his defense might work, but the other team gets paid too.Originally posted by YardRat View Post
It's a simple numbers game. If you have 7 defenders, and your 7th defender happens to be a safety (Byrd/Wilson), there's a good chance that they can break a big run because the single high safety isn't going to scrape down and fill. Just awful.Comment

In our two losses so far, Wannstedt's biggest problem is coming out with a poor gameplan and then failing to make adjustments.
