After selling a club-record 61,000 or so season tickets to create the first waiting list in the team's 38-year history, the Falcons have a mere 1,000 or so tickets -- all in the Georgia Dome's upper deck -- for each home contest, and they'll go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The prices are $34, $44, and $56 and may be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets (cash only) or atlantafalcons.com. Saturday's ticket sales will be a first-come-first-serve situation.
Considering that as recently as 2001, there were usually 30,000 or more tickets available for each game, this qualifies as upset like, well, when the Falcons in January became the first visiting team to win a playoff game at Green Bay....
