Good. Still doesn't make up for the insane fine against KW but at least the league can fine the Evil Empire to cover their tracks.

so harmless, football style hit is $15k and a blindside dirty hit the league has tried to outlaw for at least 4 years in $21,000. Ok that makes sense.....i hate this league. i hate this sport.

I rather have the flag on game time than the fine.

Goodell's a POS. He's going to Bettman this league.

I'm so glad he was at least fined, but in a league where they are concerned about injuries caused by hits to the head, this deserved a suspension. It was clearly done with intent to injure. When you compare the hit that Kyle Williams was fined $15,000 for and the hit by Spikes, that cost him $21,000 there's clearly an injustice. It's fortunate that Chandler wasn't seriously injured.

I think Chandler was briefly knocked out. When he lifted his head, he had the panicked confused look a fighter gets after coming to. He quickly realized where he was and acted ok, but I bet if you asked him privately he'd admit to getting KO'd.

This bothered me more than Spikes not being suspended, nowhere in the media did you see or even hear about the hit, I was shocked he was even fined. I didn't ever think he was going to be suspended, especially when a week earlier Belichick got away with (no suspension) grabbing an official. Is Goodell afraid of Belichick ?
