A lot of attention is being paid to the front 4, but I think the play of the LB's has been just as weak, if not weaker, other than Barnett, they just aren't making tackles. MLB Kelvin Sheppard has a total of 17 tackles on the year, no ints, no forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, or passes defensed, that's an average of just over 3 tackles a game, he's practically nonexistent on the field. Moats has not been much better, which is why Nigel Bradham will be starting in his place today. Bradham has looked good at times in his brief appearances. Nobody on this defense has played with any kind of consistency, which make me think that they don't no what their job is in Wannsteadt's scheme or Wannsteadt's scheme is garbage, I'm gonna say the latter, because these players have shown promise in the past.
