It appears that their front office isn't impressed with how they've acheived their 3-3 standing.....

what does castillo run? 3-4 or 4-3? and would making an unheard of DC switch at week 7 be any worse than running the 32nd rated defense that has given up more than 40 points in 3 of 6 games?

Yes Trap, it would be worse.

You had to know eventually he would get fired. They way that defense started the season last year and this year is the reason that team missed the playoffs and may miss it again this year. That D has underachieved since he took over.

i only asked because i never watch eagle football. i knew he struggled last year and there were issues that he got promoted too fast, if i remember correctly.

Their defense is pretty good. I don't get this move at all. They should be firing Vick for turning the ball over 4 times a game on average.

Castillo came from the Eagles offensive side of the ball a couple years ago and had been coaching offense for nearly 15 years before moving to DC. I think the Eagles have been looking for away to move Todd Bowles into the DC spot for quite some time.

it wasn't really that he was promoted too fast, it's that he was formerly the o-line coach and then promoted to D-coordinator.

It was a puzzling move from the beginning.

Bowles was only hired this year in Philly, they couldn't have wanted to move him for to long.

Like better days said he is a scapegoat, Andy couldn't fire himself.
