Steelers didn't have a problem going for 2 points in the 2nd quarter in tonights game. We refused twice in the 3rd quarter.

I can see not going for it the first time cause it was early. No excuse on the 2nd one. You're still up by more than a FG if you miss it and a TD still beats you if you kick the PAT.

just a different mindset playing tied rather than 1-2 points down. Halftime would have been 14-13 if they kicked an extra pt, but they got the 2 pt. Now they're up 7, instead of up 22-17. Made a difference already imo.

Personally I'm not a fan of going for 2 unless you absolutely have to.

so much can change in a game in such a short period that u just don't gamble away a single point.

Our backs were averaging 7YPC. Perfect opportunity for the play action.
