He should rest it for the next 2 weeks and hopefully that allows him to engage blockers like he is used to. Its obvious the injury was affecting his play as he must be at least motivated to shut everyone up if not motivated for his own reasons and for his team.

In all honesty, if he does have a damaged wrist, no amount of heart will help him overcome that. Mario is not Dwight Freeney, he isn't going to sprint passed OTs or spin by them. He is a bull rusher who uses speed to counter his power moves. If he has a messed up wrist he isn't going to be able to play his type of game.

That is why I wanted him to just sit as another player would do more as Kyle Moore showed.

What's placed on the field will determine that, I'd love to see an improvement in his effort either way.
