Brooks May Be Ready To Contribute (http://www.billsdaily.com/news/index.shtml#102712): Chan Gailey said last week that Ron Brooks is completely healthy and could be ready to be activated on Wednesday when he is eligible. Gailey said it remains to be seen if he will be up to speed to be activated or not. A telling sign during the one bye week practice was that he was with the defense while Justin Rogers was on the scout team according to Paul Hamilton of WGR. This could be an indication that he has moved ahead of Rogers already on the depth chart (http://www.billszone.com/depthchart).

And he pushed Justin Rogers to the scout team!

The kid is a player. He may push Williams before the season is over also.

This is one of our young guys I was most excited about before the season. I think he has a chance to end up being a real steal. I hope he takes over a significant role in our secondary immediately. Even if he makes some mistakes he really can't hurt this D and I'd like to see him get as many reps this year as possible.

He's a game changer, punishing all that oppose him.

His future is indeed slot corner. He's not covering the big boys on the outside.

Heard nothing but good things from people around here. I personally only saw highlights and scout stuff, but from the legit draftniks around here it's been positives.

He'll be put out of place by the coaches, so it'll be meaningless in the immediate future. Good to have him back for the new coach to use, hopefully soon.

From what I've seen the slot guys have been murdering us. Welker, Gronk, Davis, Fitzgerald when he moved in the slot, etc.

Smartest post of the week, it's been painful to watch us flop.

Was just pointing out what he maybe can and what he cannot do.

And if he can do it well then awesome, because it's been a massive weakness.

If it keeps Rogers off the field, it has to be a plus.
