    Polian Seeking NFL Job

The Buffalo Bills are one of a number of NFL teams where major changes could be looming according to a report at CBSSPORTS.com.

Jason LaCanfora’s report suggests there will be more front office movement than the norm. In addition to Buffalo, LaCanfora identifies Cleveland, Kansas City, San Diego, Jacksonville and the New York Jets as franchises where major changes might take place. Carolina has already fired its General Manager.

Didn't think that Ralphy would change FO due to his age but I can see this him doing so for Polian though.

I know everyone loves Polian and he was the best GM we've ever had.

However, he has had some lousy drafts recently and might insist on hiring his son wherever he goes.

if this is so, he wouldn't have come for his WOF ceremonies.

I agree. His son did a crappy job in Indy!

I'm afraid that if we hire Bills Polian, we will get more of Chris Polian than Bill's.

That bridge has been burnt. As long as his daughter has a say, it won't happen.

Expect him in NY, taking the Jets job.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

            MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

If you are talking about Linda Bogdan , Ralphs daughter who had a problem with Polian, she passed away.

                The issue here is the package deal. If we take Polian on it would have to be;

                Bill Polian-Team President
                Doug Whaley-General Manager
                Chris Polian-Assistant General Manager

I need a degree of seperation between Bill and Chris to be comfortable.

Bringing Chris along would completely negate the deal to me. I'm pretty comfortable with Whaley taking over the GM role in the near future.

                    Re: Polian Seeking NFL Job

I wouldn't be too worried about Bill and Chris being a "Package deal." Chris landed a job with Atlanta last offseason. While I guess it's possible that Bill might want to bring Chris into the fold, I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. It's not like Chris is sitting at home waiting for a job.

Also, take this for what it's worth, but here in Indiana, I get the impression that Irsay felt "overshadowed" by the Polians and used the Colts' bad season last year to get rid of them. Irsay has a pretty big ego. My guess is, had Manning not been injured and the Colts not finished 2-14, the Polians would still be there.

The article said he "would like to." That's what I was going on...

But, like I said, I don't think that Chris was as big of a problem in Indy as was led on... The problem was, Irsay wanted more attention.

And in an ironic twist of fate, Doug Whaley ends up getting fired for calling Polian's son a dumb *****.

I would actually like to see Whaley running the team, TBH. I think he's got a good future, and I'd like to hire someone on the upswing of their career rather than the downswing.

Plus, according to Wikipedia, Whaley once got in trouble when he emailed a porn video to a colleague, who then forwarded it to half the NFL. That cracked me up.
