All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Fred Jackson cleared to play, but CJ named starter
Fred Jackson cleared to play, but CJ named starter
Per buffalobills.com breaking news. CJ Spiller has been named the starter for Sunday by Chan Gailey even though Fred Jackson is healthy.
It will be interesting to see what this actually means. I wonder if CJ will actually get more carries, or if he'll just start and still split a fairly even amount with Fred.
Re: Fred Jackson cleared to play, but CJ named starter
I put little merit in who starts. They can be on the field play one and then ride the bench.
The better question is will Fred get the goal line carries instead of Tashard? Because that would be a fantastic change from the Fish game. (yes I know he was injured, but keep CJ's tired ass in there)

Some quotes from Gailey:
“C.J. will start, but we’re still going to play Fred,” said Gailey. “It takes two. It does. So Fred will get quite a few snaps, but C.J. will start and get the majority of the snaps.”
Knowing Jackson is very effective at getting the tough yards, Gailey is more than happy to welcome him back to the lineup especially when it comes to the offense’s effectiveness in the red zone.
“He helps us because he’s a great football player,” said Gailey. “Great football players help you wherever you are (on the field). He’s going to help us get down there as well as score touchdowns.”
Re: Fred Jackson cleared to play, but CJ named starter
I don't see Gailey deviating much from what he's been doing, other than Spiller getting the start, you might see Spiller get around 35 snaps and Jackson getting around 30, with Spiller getting 9 carries and Fred 7. I would be a little shocked (not unhappy) if we saw something like CJ getting 15 carries and Fred getting 5.
Re: Fred Jackson cleared to play, but CJ named starter
From my previous post I should of said I'd be happy with Spiller getting 15+ carries and Jackson getting 5-10, I don't want Jackson to be taken away from the offense, I just want to start seeing Spiller getting more than 9-10 carries when Jackson is back.
