    Dropped balls

I've lost count how many balls our WRs have dropped today. Most of the balls were catchable, though not exactly on the money. Stevie alone dropped at least 3 in the first half.

    That cannot help.

I don't blame the receivers. They are shocked when Fitz actually puts the ball within 3 feet of them.

The difference in the game is the play of the quarterbacks. One is moving the ball one is not. In fact, the Colts are not running the ball well at all but the Bills are running well again.

          It's a toss-up between him and Chan.

Fitzpatrick friggin sucks and this team won't make the playoffs until we get a real one. Chan is a better o coordinator than head coach and wannstadt couldn't successfully coach a pop Warner team. A rookie qb is beating us. I'm so sick of 12 years of suck. Why do we waste our weekends?
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

Rookie QBs have beat quite a few teams this year.

Sorry I though this was a riddle.

Q: What do Bill homer fans not have yet?

                A: Dropped balls.

The two worst drops were by jones and Spiller when they were wide open for 70+ yard td's and allowed for the ball to hit the turf 10 yards in front of them. Inexcusable.

The difference in the game was a special teams TD.

That's one of the more maddening points to the last two weeks. I'm the first to rip on Wannstadt and his ****ty four man straight up the field pass rush bend but don't break defense, but the last two weeks they've actually only given up 20 points total, more than sufficient enough to win ball games.

"What the f**k happened to the Buffalo Bills I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with a new coaching staff, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wannstadt, he's a dead man! DeHaven, dead! Gailey..."

Mathematically, that is correct, but on an evaluation basis, that is grossly misleading.

The true test of a team is the ability to impose your will on an opponent. Get the third and shorts. Stop their attempts to do the same.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Colts would have been able to win the game if they had the ball with two minutes left and the game in question.
Their offensive successes looked easier. Their guys are wide open. Luck steps into throws and puts it on the money with velocity.
If guys weren't open, he ran for the first down.

Our offense, ex Spiller, looks like extremely well covered receivers making catches, and running backs having to dodge/break two hits before getting room.

                        Case in point, from memory.

The Bills have the ball with 58 seconds left in the first half deep in their own end. A normal NFL team gets a first down to end the half, or makes a few plays in two minute O to maybe have the chance to get a FG.

                        What do we do?

Remember, I said 58 secs, our ball.

We have about a 15 second time of possession three and out, punt, and watch the supposedly talent deprived Colts drive down the field and get in a position to score with 16 seconds left.

Note that. 58 secs to 16 secs is 42 secs.

In that 42 secs of game time, the Colts not only stop the Bills, but field a punt and drive down the field to about our 10.

That is unimaginably disgusting. That is not an NFL team.

Or the fact that our HC doesn't have confidence in Rian Lindell to successfully kick a 51 yard FG in a dome and punts from the Colt 34.
