View Full Version : Is there any way we can lose to Vikes?

I really don't see how we can -- I really don't. They can't stop the passing game -- Drew, Eric and Peerless will light up the field. They have two strong receivers -- but we have three strong corners to cover. They have no running game and a pitiful weak OL. Culpepper can't win the game all by himself.

I see no way Vikes can win or Bills can lose. If you do, please tell me now before I get my hopes up.

I dunno....Our offense, particularly the offensive line, has had this wierd trend for the last 3-4 seasons. Whenever people start to get on their backs about how much they suck (like after the preseason this year) they seem to bust out with an occasional statement "I told you so" performance - almost as if they're doing it out of spite of the media&fans. Then as soon as they get some praise, they drop back down to futility. It's like they play better when they have a chip on their shoulder. I know the Vikings have a lousy defense, but I want to see our offense produce on a consistent basis before I annoint them a juggernaut.

Then there's our defense, special teams, and the fact that Minnesota is one of the tougher places to play - that's 4 ways we can lose the game.

The Vikings will be pissed after blowing the game in Chicago. This is their home opener and they don't want to go 0-2 in front of their fans. Whatever delusions the team has of being a contender won't die this early in the season so they'll be pumped.

I think and hope we can contain him but he’s the wild card.

Maybe he won’t feel like playing!

It should be a fun game to watch. If Jim Miller can tear up the Vikings, I really think Bledsoe should be able to

Moss is good, who is the other one? Alexander? That guy is made of glass. Bates? He isn't anything special. Bennet has speed, but I am not too impressed with him.

Jim Miller is underrated.

There is always a way to lose. That is why, as it is said, they play the game.

Buffalo still has to execute, avoid stupid penalties and injuries to critical personnel.

Idunno....I was at the Vike's preseason game.
Moss kicked ass & burned us for big gainers.
Nobody wanted to tackle Culpepper

hmmmmmm

I'll give ya that EE, he's an average QB instead of a bad one. Bledsoe is still better

I love the title of this thread. How soon they forget that only one short year ago, we were 3-13. Now we are a shoo in on the road?

plenty of ways we can lose. I do not think our secondary played all that well against the jets, personally. Vinny had a high completion rate. Who knows if the offense can get the same running attack of last week. Special teams-ugh.

Plus we continue to find new and creative ways to lose.

I think I special teams have something to prove. If they give up another big return, leave them all in Minnesota with Quizlet

Bledsoe will have a huge day. It will all come down to our Pass defense
