Steelers need to lose. Just think we win the Titans game or the Indy game or better yet both and we are all singing a different tune. I wont hold my breath though just dont think this team has it in them to win out.

Steelers should lose....no way Batch can lead the team over the Ravens on the road. I would be shocked

Set us up the bomb. And how the hell did the Jets win today?

Pittsburgh won't make the playoffs.

Bengals and Colts likely to take the AFC wild cards.

The Miami game is kind of irrelevant, but Pitt and Cincy both losing would be most important.

And the Lions are now done in the NFC.

Wild comeback.

Wow... that game just blew my mind.

Wow crazy Colts win, but we didn't really have much chance of catching them anyway. It's all about Pitt and Cincy now.

Luck's gonna be great. Russell Wilson looked like a vet today too. So glad we take the best player on our board instead of "reaching" for a QB.

Steelers and Bengals both losing at the half...

ugh.

Mr. Pink

And there goes the Chargers doing something stupid to make sure they lose a game...so typical.

Ed

And the Steelers pull off the come from behind win on the road with Batch. That just about sinks the Bills.

I'm shocked the Steelers were able to beat the Ravens with Batch.

Chargers may still win... Or not.

Mr. Pink

And Rivers throws an INT in the end zone...shocked!

Me too. I gave them no chance of winning.

in the billion to 1 shot that the Steelers finish 2-2 and the Bungles finish 2-2, AND we win out, who gets in?

First tiebreaker is head-to-head...does not apply to the Bills though it would to PIT/CIN. PIT won the first game @CIN.

First applicable tiebreaker for the Bills is conference record. If the Bills win out, they will be 6-6 in the conference. PIT is 4-5 in the AFC with games SD, @DAL, CIN, CLE. CIN is 5-5 with DAL, @PHI, @PIT, BAL.

After that, it's best record in common games. That gets pretty complicated. Between PIT and BUF, they are both 2-2 in common games with PIT having CLE still and BUF having NYJ. Between CIN and BUF, both are 3-2 with BUF still to play NYJ and @MIA.

If 3-way, the Bills are 2-0 with NYJ and @MIA, PIT is 1-1 with CLE, and CIN is 2-1. IF the Bills split, they win that tie-breaker.

it's amazing how just 1 game makes a huge difference. if we just beat...

If you watched the game Batch had three or so bad throws and a bunch of good ones. Not bad for a backup. Come to think of it he looked better than Fitz.

Basically the Steelers and Bengals two losses would need to be to AFC teams giving them both a conference record of 5-7.

Both clubs face 2 NFC opponents in their last 4 games. They play each other week in game # 15, then CIN faces BAL and PIT faces CLE in game 16. So looks like things will go down to the wire re BUF's AFC record competition for a WC spot.

PIT only has DAL left in the NFC.

With Pittsburgh winning yesterday, surprisingly, the final playoff spot in the AFC will come down to that week 16 matchup.

Whoever wins that game will make the playoffs.
