That's all I can think whenever I see this guy play.
I hope Philip Rivers is not our QB next year

Dude is done, arm strength keeps getting worse.
How about Alexander? Dude is essentially their number one wideout, at least the Bills brought him in for a workout!Last edited by kingJofNYC; 12-02-2012, 06:41 PM.

Re: I hope Philip Rivers is not our QB next year
Philip Rivers can be salvaged with the right coaching.
If you look at the numbers he put up between 2008 and 2010, a lot of writers (at the time) made the case Rivers was the best pure passer in the league.
But when you take away a guy's weapons and don't replace any of them, don't be surprised if the results suck.
Vincent Jackson, gone. LaDainian Tomlinson, gone. Darren Sproles, gone. Vincent Brown, injured all year. Marcus McNeil, gone. Ryan Matthews, a bust. Antonio Gates, washed up.
And Rivers also has the distinct honor of playing for the worst head coach in the league. Norv Turner took a SB caliber team and reduced it to rubble in 3 short years.
However, even though I like Rivers and think he can be fixed, it won't happen here in Buffalo. Gailey is second worst, only after Turner. And we all know Buddy Nix will hire some other loser even if he has the guts to ****can Gailey.Disclaimer: The sentiment expressed in this post is strictly for entertainment purposes only.

Re: I hope Philip Rivers is not our QB next year
he's been good before, and he might be the best available.
i like wilson from the razorbacks, but if we can't get our guy in the draft (and go CB or MLB instead, which wouldn't be the worst thing ever) then i'd jump to sign rivers.
even if we kept wanstache and chan't, we'd be a much better team with some continuity and rivers.
he'd easily be the 2nd best qb in our division, and our spread attack with the great backs would look good with him, as he gets rid of the ball quickly and accurately.
i honestly think we are qb away, now that our d is playing like they should.
