Okay...this one is a little bit harder this week. However, I will give it a try.

Best: 2004, a complete ass kicking of Mike Martz and the Rams. A complete win in all three phases. Bobby April was on fire as the special teams coach. McGahee started to gather steam as a runner. This win started a six game win streak that led to the now infamous finale with the Steelers.

Worst: 1998, Tony Banks scores on the last play of the game and spikes the ball in front of stunned stadium. Bills lose 34-33. The Bills start off 0-3 with not much hope...until a Bills win for the ages against the mighty 49ers the following week.

Best, the season opener in 1992 when we routed the Rams 40-7 and James Lofton became the alltime league leader in receptions
Worst, the Tony Banks display in 98

That Tony Banks game definately ranks up as the worst.

In terms of the best:

Rams acquire:
Greg Bell, RB
Owen Gill, RB
Buffalo No. 1 – 1988 (Gaston Green, RB, 14th overall)
Indianapolis No. 1 – 1988 (Aaron Cox, WR, 20th overall)
Indianapolis No. 2 – 1988 (Fred Strickland, LB, 47th overall)
Buffalo No. 1 – 1989 (Cleveland Gary, RB, 26th overall)
Indianapolis No. 2 – 1989 (Frank Stams, LB, 45th overall)
Buffalo No. 2 – 1989 (Darryl Henley, DB, 53rd overall)

Colts acquire:
Eric Dickerson

Bills acquire:
Cornellius Bennett

and of course one could argue that by trading Bell it ultimately lead to us taking Thurman Thomas in 1988.

Monday night game in 89, I believe both teams were 5 -0. Jim Kelly gets hurt and Frank Reich comes in and wins the game.

the Rams are my second favorite team so I cannot wait for this game

BEST: 1980: Bills 10, Rams 7. Steve Freeman with the big INT. Knox beats his old team.

WORST: 1970: Shut out at WMS 19-0. Gomer Pyle sang the national anthem.
