    Bills-Rams Sells Out

I'm kind of shocked, but no blackout for you locals.

wow....is this simply from the win last week?

you could call the fan base crazy, but honestly, i'd call the fo crazy. do they not see how their bottom line would be padded if they just tried to win more frequently?

I didn't actually read the article I posted, but it looks like one guy bought the remaining tickets. I don't know how many though.

Russell J. Salvatore of Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More guaranteed the purchase of all remaining tickets in time to lift the local blackout. The game will be televised locally on WUTV-TV FOX 29 and throughout the region on local Fox affiliates.

“The Buffalo Bills are very appreciative of the loyalty and support from Bills fans this season, and we especially thank Russell J. Salvatore of Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More for his generosity by purchasing the remaining tickets to our game against the Rams,” said Russ Brandon, Chief Executive Officer for the team.

“The impact and appreciation from the Buffalo fans last time I did this was amazing,” said Russell J. Salvatore. “This is my Holiday gift to them, as they certainly have been more than supportive of me.”

Not surprising, people just want to see next years Superbowl preview.

Not surprising. This is a Fox game. It is one of two chances the local Fox station can get our Bills on TV. Those games are rarely blacked out.

Let's complain about the team we love that their fans can see the game because of generosity. Damn that group of people for helping out Bills fans! I don't like the organization so we should stick it to the front offices and blackout/let Ralph die/lose for a better draft pick!!! I DON'T WANT TO WIN!!!

Every sellout and every win increase the chances that Nix, Gailey and Fitz come back next year. If you really loved the team, you'd care more about fixing the team for next season and after than about watching a meaningless game against a team even worse than we are.

Yep. Were I still living in Bflo, I'd boycott Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More.

I've noticed there are more of those than there were last year.

I will be at the game either way so I didn't care whether it sold out or not.

More, yes. A lot more, no.

And still not enough for us to make the playoffs....

You fire GM's/coaches when there is no progress or regression. If they get fired and we (inevitably) get another 2nd or 3rd tier coach (who will start things all over and not necessarily be better), we'll look back at this and say we should have waited and found out if they could keep improving. The only big snag is the Fitzpatrick thing...if only he could hit a deep ball.
