Love the way he operated.

Last night, a buddy of mine and I were talking about how much better the league was under Taggy.

Roger Goodell was hired because he was supposedly a consensus builder that could balance the demands of the players weighted against whims of the owners. In that regard he's been a disappointment. He's also not very consistent in how he treats players ala fines/suspensions.

so players were intentionally hurt and that was worth over turning. but cheating and giving almost no explanation as to what he was doing with that footage and despite his comments that contradict his "i never used them against opponents" mantra, he still gets to be hyped up as one of the smartest guys in football.

The whole league is becoming a gigantic joke.

Under Tagliabue, I would bet that this story doesn't even become public. I miss the days when Ray Lewis could kill a guy, the Cowboys could basically do whatever they wanted off the field, and players could celebrate. It was a better game day experience.
