All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

One Fact We Do Know -- We Have Never Developed a QB
Even Jim Kelly was developed by the WFL before he came to Buffalo.
Here is an out of the box idea ==> why not trade our 1st round pick to New England for Ryan Mallett?
He has spent 2 years learning from Brady under something we don't have -- competent coaching.
Perhaps he is now actually NFL ready.
We developed Frank Reich, Joe Ferguson & before them Daryle Lamonica.
Here's a better idea-Instead of trading our #1 for a guy we didn't want 2 years ago & hasn't proven anything in the NFL and giving our #1 to a divisional rival, why don't we get a GM who isn't afraid of the word quarterback on the days they hold the draft. Also, let's get a coach capable of developing a QB & not letting him wait years before he puts him in and uses excuses for not playing his players like "He got winded".
Re: One Fact We Do Know -- We Have Never Developed a QB
Here's a question. If Bill Bellichick is willing to trade Ryan Mallet to an AFC East opponent with his own starter being 34 years old, would you trust him?
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Re: One Fact We Do Know -- We Have Never Developed a QB
Buffalo has tried to develop QBs in the past but the problem is they seem to always miss. Trading a 1st RD pick to Dallas so we could pick JP Losman AFTER Rivers, Manning, and Roethlesberger was just plain stupid.
Re: One Fact We Do Know -- We Have Never Developed a QB
The point of the thread is that we take advantage of Mallet being developed already for 2 years by New England -- the best starting QB and best HC in the NFL.
We could then ruin Mallet but it could be argued that 2 years of training in New England is pretty good training right now for a potential starting QB.

Yeah, well the Chiefs traded for a Pats back up QB a few years ago, didn't work out too well for them.
Hey, I am just trying to find some solution to our QB dilemma.
Yeah, but the answer is not a Pats* castoff..................that has never even played a game in the NFL. I would much prefer Matt Flynn or Matt Moore if the Bills sign another teams castoff.
