With today being the anniversary of the attacks, my company is shutting down at 9am for a few minutes for a moment of silence and again just after 3 for a voluntary prayer session. Anyone else's employers doing anything like that?

My company is owned by an Indian who doesn't give a crap. They will give BS certificates to the local police and firemen.

OK back to work.

How can there be silence if we are speaking?

staring at my computer all day....they're having a memorial for the EMT workers that we lost outside....they built a really nice memorial and have music playing and people are just kinda hanging out looking at it.

The office building where I work had a ceremony this morning at 9:30. And I am going to mass tonight. This day is just so sad. :(

:patriot:God Bless America and those who lost their lives a year ago today:pray:

Iam doing the whole school thing today, and will also be thinking to myself how damn lucky we all are to be an American. God Bless all of those who lost loved ones last September 11, 2001.

I'm usually the only guy around when I'm at the office. I stopped a little before noon and went over to the county courthouse for a short memorial service.

I was the only one at work this morning. I took time to think about all the people we lost, and to be thankful that we live in such a great country.

In school we had a moment of silence at 8:46, when the 1st plane hit, and at around 10:30ish around the flag and with the bells ringing. It was a very tough day, because a best friend of mine lost his uncle in the WTC attack who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald.
