This is a great find... thanks for sharing. This chart adds perspective about how much value there actually is on the roster. For that Nix and Co. earn credit. Passing on Gronk for Troup was the biggest error I see on there (although not drafting a QB at some point cannot be overlooked), but otherwise he's built a solid collection of players in his three years. It also makes it very apparent what a colossal failure Gailey has been as a coach. To perform as poorly as he has, even discluding the 0-8 start, is inexcusable. So Nix has probably justified another year, whereas Gailey has justified his NYE dismissal.

I really believe the right coach, a stud 1st round LB and an investment in the QB position (or even a slight upgrade via FA at the position) would get us into the playoffs, and possibly contending for the AFC in two years time. Ralph probably has time for one big decision/transition left in this lifetime. Let's hope he gets it right.
