    Spiller's Contract

I hope this puts it to bed once and for all... As I (and others) have posted before... Spiller is signed through the 2015 season. He will not be a free agent until 2016.

Well, if Gailey (or if the Bills hire another coach anytime before his contract is up) doesn't give him more than single digit touches each game, does it really matter when his contract is up?

Incentives? Does that have anything to do with his lack of carries?

At most, it amounts to half a mil of incentives between 2010-2014 (5 years). That averages to $100k a year.

So, to answer your question, probably not. I highly doubt they'd refuse to give him the ball, just to save an average of $100k a year.

My guess is, Gailey doesn't even know about Spiller's contract incentives, or what triggers them... He's just an idiot who refuses to use his best offensive weapon.

Sometimes I wonder if Gailey even knows that Spiller is on the team.

There's no way he plays through that contract. He'll be demanding a new deal after next season.
