if you are looking for small signs of improvement this year, this would be it. the bills didn't do their week 8-10 IR all the starters with minor injuries to save a few bucks.

They made it to week 14.

Though, i'd love to see leon Joe in uniform, one more time

Is it just me, or does it seem like every time someone on this team goes on IR, the team promotes someone who plays a DIFFERENT position to the active roster?

too bad....leodis finally found his form as punt returner and slot coverage duties. given a LB that could T off on the QB's, Leodis probably would have been good covering welker's underneath stuff.

i wonder who overpays for him. If he goes to a team that needs the ST player and a back up DB, i bet he does well. if it's a team that is looking to shore up starting DB, they'll hvae overpaid dearly.

Don't players who start out on the active roster get their full salary when they go on IR?

At this point in the season, it just makes sense to IR players with minor injuries, just to keep the roster filled out with players who are healthy enough to be on the field. Even if they won't contribute much, at leaast the team can take a look at them and form some impressions that affect what they choose to do in the offseason.
