Re: Bills sign 10 year lease!
Got the text! Great news!
Some will want to see how ironclad the terms are, but a 10 year extension gives us some serious security.

Re: Bills sign 10 year lease!
ABout time they make some renovations too.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Re: Bills sign 10 year lease!
after year seven, or just year 7....i thought i read it was just year 7 which i found incredibly odd. if it's after year seven, why even bother calling it a 10 year deal?
i wonder how they selected 7. in all honesty, i'd take that because it would be hard to think wilson can go until he is 101. the guy hardly travels about any more...and he is in significant discomfort. I heard this from people who would know such a thing.
by year 7 the bills should have a new owner...we just have to hope it's a local guy. because if he/she/or the group gets the team in year 4 and we aren't uber profitable to them, they will split in that 7th year fee waiver.
but the short term news is that we probably will be peeing in real toilets and washing our hands in real sinks. such a gigantic win for us all.
