My pick would be Jim Kelly. He already has investors to buy the team and you know he's
hungry to make this team competitive again and bring home that elusive Super Bowl trophy!
Who's your pick?

Pegula-he's already planning a waterfront development & can afford to build the stadium without a lot of taxpayer money as part of that development.

BTW-Jim Kelly is not going to be the owner of any group he has. If his group gets ownership he will get a job similar to John Elway's in Denver.

So why is Jim talking about how he has all these people whose interested in buying the team and he's going to be the owner? I guess he'll be a minority owner and consultant in football operations instead, like John Elway.

Kelly as owner I wish...forget about it though.

Would be fantastic if he did. He'd be obsessed trying to win a SB if he was owner.

He drinks and likes to shoot off his mouth.

I've thought a lot about this in recent years and while this isn't necessarily who I'd WANT as the Bills' owners, there's a lot that makes sense about the duo I'm about to mention...

Donald Trump and Vince McMahon.

Before dismissing this entirely, think a bit about it...

Both are multi-millionires, with Trump being a multi-billionaire. Vince is worth around half a billion, last I knew
Both have been involved in pro football before (Trump in the USFL and Vince with the XFL).
Both have a "soft spot" for the state of New York and while the "soft spot" is more for NYC, I think both would love to advertise the Bills as "The only team in NY."
Both are damn good at selling their product.
Both would do whatever it takes to win (at least financially).
They have ties to each other professionally.
Trump has ties to Jim Kelly, who could very well be a big part of Kelly's group.

Not saying it would be my ultimate choice, but it's completely plausible and I think they would be extremely likley to keep the Bills in WNY.

You're right, Vince and Donald hates to lose and will win at any cost. I think Trump may be one of the investors of the team Kelly is putting together, but as far as Trump being the majority owner, I can't see that and that goes for Vince, he's way too tied up in the WWE to give full attention to an NFL franchise.

No offense, but I'd like to dismiss tht entirely.

Its gotta be Pegula. He akes the most sense by far.

Trump will never own an NFL team. They wouldn't sell to him in the 80' s so he went all in with the USFL then drove them into the ground. Guaranteed, you'll never see the combover in the NFL.

Oh, and that goes for Vince and his XFL venture as well.

I think a good part of that was due to him being heavily involved with his casinos at the time... I don't think he's nearly as involved with those now, but I could be wrong.

I'm not saying that either of them will, or even would be the "primary" owner. Either or would likley be part of a group.

While Vince is still the Chairman of WWE, he's not nearly as involved as he was in the past. His daughter and son-in-law are running a pretty good part of WWE now.

I also figured with everyone stating obvious names constantly, a couple names that nobody had even thought of, that would be potentially realistic, would open the discussion a bit more than the circles that constantly are talked around when this subject comes up.

Trump makes sense for obvious reasons, McMahon doesn't.

If some people think that Ralph makes to many decisions now, can't wait to see what the same people would say about this duo. In no way should the USFL and XFL(xfl especially) be considered "Pro Football". The XFL was a massive failure and the USFL is just meh. Can't imagine the two biggest ego's on the planet owning one team. Trump would easily pay the 400 mil to move a team out of Buffalo to a more profitable area in a heartbeat. Sure he loves NY but he loves money more. If he can make more money and get a trophy in a different city, the Bills will be out of Buffalo quicker then the Browns from Cleveland. Do not need Trump saying, "Buffalo, your fired."

IMO Vinny Mac has more say in the WWE then some think, its still his company, while his Daughter and Son In Law may "run" the business, I would think he still has a major voice in decision making. Vinny recently lossed a half Billion, and his Wife spent like crazy on her campaign. Merriman would love having Vinny as an owner, all the roids you can handle.
