Rex Ryan & the QB less Jets at home are a huge threat to any lose out scenario. I'm not sure this week's road game in Miami is the real danger. If they win in Miami, they could go 7-9, saving the jobs of both Gailey & Fitzpatrick. Ralph would be so giddy with wins over Miami & the Jets he might just extend Gailey for life.

Really? After this craptastic year you think beating two more crappy teams would save Gailey's job? I don't think it would. It definitely wouldn't save Fitz's job.

Well, its just our luck to play the Jets next week.

These refs suck. The Johnson/Dickerson fumbles and SJ's TD aside, if 'by rule' the pass is considered forward by attempt even though it went backward, than the ref should've been on the ball enough to explain it to Gailey and not allow the play to be challenged.

Not to make an excuse of the Bills degree of suck, but the officiating is horrible. It only takes a couple of plays. Games have been engineered for years. "Just give it to 'em."

The obvious call was Bush was out of bounds before he lost the ball in the endzone.

Let me ask you this, why was Bush's carry ruled a TD even though he didn't complete possession after he crossed the plane, but Stevie Johnson had possession when he crossed the plane and didn't complete the possession? Bush didn't complete possession on the play, so you have rules that are diametrically opposed. Of course, the officials have the bull**** out of conclusive evidence. Anybody that thinks the NFL isn't a rigged game has to be one of the dumbest people on the planet.

Enjoy the game and then you can watch professional wrestling.

Refs sucking is nothing new. Sometimes they suck for us sometimes they suck against us. The Bills suck worse. If Bush is called out on the first TD does anyone believe they would not of scored anyway? Moonie, you have been incredibly faithful to the Bills because you grew up in Buffalo.

No one would blame you if you now just become a Broncos fan.

You did your time.

Is there a record we can set for rushing yards against?

It'll be tough to beat the 2700 yards given up by Buddy's 3-4 Beast put together in 2010. They'll be close though. 168 yards through 3 quarters.

They should beat the 4.8 ypc given up that year. They were at 5.1 before the game and they are averaging well over that today.

Keep the faith!

At least the Juron era teams would wait till the last game to run for the bus. This team packed it in after the Rams game. What a bunch of losers.

I don't understand why people say that Fitz has a problem with consistency, that about the 6th turnover he's had in the final minutes of the game, that's pretty consistent, consistently Suck.

This may be the worst coached Bills team I have ever seen in over 40 years of watching. How Gailey can survive not being fired tomorrow amazes me, let alone considering bringing him back for another year.

Moonie, you have been incredibly faithful to the Bills because you grew up in Buffalo.

You did your time.Nope, The only team I would consider is the Texans. I lived in Houston as long as I lived in Buffalo. However, it's not the same.

Seeing the constant joke calls around the league makes me think true competition no longer exists in the NFL. Pimping rookies because big companies have them as spokesman. One sided officiating. What's the point? It's a joke league and a joke game. It's tailored to idiots that have become the American mainstream.

Besides, I have hated the Broncos since they let Elway backdoor his coach to get his way. I've met John Elway and he didn't change my mind on him being a douchebag. So is Pat Bowlen and I've met him too. Both arrogant ****s. It really doesn't matter which team you follow, whoever wins the Super Bowl is the one that the NFL wants to win. I will no longer spend a dime on it. A once great game has been reduced to a marketing tool. Enjoy.

I do remember them, but the difference with those guys is they didn't have the talent that this team has, they had to deal with the likes of Vince Ferragamo and Gary Marangi. They also didn't have 3 years to put something together and I can't remember any of them doing anything as stupid as refusing to use their best player or not knowing what yard line they were on or if in a position to get back in the game let the clock run down, etc, etc, etc. There's no doubt that this organization has had it's share of bad coaches, but Gailey in 3 years, with a better roster each year is going backwards

Its entertainment like all others, also how long has it been fixed? Aren't you the one who talked about that game v. Dallas we won back in 84?Well, you have to separate the eras. The one before players started making 3 to 4 million a year and the one after.

Everyone knows about Walt Coleman and crew doing Patriots/Bills on Monday night, where Andre Reed was mic'ed and we could hear. That wasn't the only BS, they gave Bledsoe 5 downs to score the winning TD. Wade Phillips was so pissed, he took the team off the field before the extra point.

You mentioned the '84 Cowboys/Bills game where we won 14-3 for our first win in 12 games. I served a restaurant in Houston called "The Stables" and the chef (NYC native) and I used to talk football all the time. We became friends and he turned me on to his bookie. I was never a big gambler, but I used to bet a few times a year. The Thursday before the game he tells me to take all my savings out of the bank and bet Buffalo to win straight up, no spread. The Cowboys were favored by 13 or 14. He knew of couple of guys on the Syracuse football staff that told him the fix was in on that game. The odds were 8-1 against Bills and I laid down $500 and sure enough the lowly Bills knocked off the mighty Cowboys.

Another game I can point to was the '75 Super Bowl. Pittsburgh was the most penalized team in the league that year. I always thought the Steelers were a dirty team anyway. On Super Sunday not a single penalty was called against Pittsburgh...curious. On top of that, this was the game where Cliff Harris patted Roy Gerela on the helmet and told him "good job" after he missed a FG. Jack Lambert grabbed Harris and flung him on the ground. No personal foul, nothing.

I pay the closest attention to the Bills, so it stands to reason that I see what goes on in their games more than others. You mouth breathers can call me a homer if you like, it doesn't make anything less true. I thought in the Cincy game last year, the Bengals were given a helping hand when Stevie Johnson had an obvious catch for a first down in Bengals territory when we were driving for the winning score. Nope, incomplete and we have to kick. Cincy drives down the field and kicks the game winner with no time left. Bear in mind that their stadium was only half filled, fan interest was low and no one thought they we going anywhere. It was a shot in the arm for their city and team.

I can also point to the Tennessee game this year. I have DVR and I tape the games so I can look at plays I want in super slo-mo. Three of Chris Johnson's runs had obvious holding at the point of attack. The 83 yarder the fullback had his arm completely wrapped around Barnett's back, pulling him sideways out of the hole. Even after all the BS, we looked like we were going to win anyway. Fitzy hits Chandler for twenty down in Titans territory and it looked like we could run a lot of clock and maybe even score again. Bhaaamp, wrong. We get flagged for holding on the play and Mike Carey doesn't even give an explanation. Of course, the Titans get the ball back and score.

Aside from the Bills, you can look at any NE game and before this year, the Jets and see that they get very favorable calls or non-calls. The Denver O-Line can practically tackle pass rushers and not get called. Peyton Manning has to be protected. So does Tom Brady. I don't watch many Saints or Packers games, but I would guess Brees and Rodgers are overprotected as well. The NFL doesn't want their marquee players hurt. This pretty much started the year after something like 10 or 12 starting QB's went down in the first 3 weeks.

You can say calling the refs out is sour grapes if you like, but I know what I see and have seen for 50 years. The NFL likes close, exciting games with lots of points scored, they have engineered the game to try to get that result with rule changes and the complicity of their officials. So that is why I won't spend any more of my money on the games, merchandise and I won't even buy from companies that use an NFL player as a spokesman. Another thing that goes through my mind is rookies that haven't played a down are getting endorsement contracts. These companies have a lot of money and also a vested interest in the players success. Who knows if they kick some coin to the stripped shirts to help make that happen.
