Another week. Another fire Chan thread. Why bother? What can be said now that hasn't been said for weeks?

Firing Chan Gailey is tops on my Xmas list.

But of course, his sorry ass will be back in Buffalo for one more year. Bank on it.

Buddy Nix hitched his wagon to Gailey's star three years ago and he's going to stick with him in 2013 -- with a few "handcuffs" like relinquishing play-calling duties.

I hate this organization. So poorly run.

As God is my witness, they are still trying to find a way to keep Chan and Fitz.

You have a credible source telling you this?

The sugar plum fairy, because I'm stuck watching this S-after football all day. It's burning my eyes.

As much as Chan Gailey should probably get fired, whats the point? The Bills are just going to get some other bum as a Head Coach.

What reputable coach would work for an owner in his mid 90s, mentally confused, who continually meddles in the field operations of the business, and player personnel decisions, and who also has no apparent succession plan for when he dies? Also, Wilson does not like to pay coaches lavishly - he has a 70s mindset to what a coach should earn even though it's 4 decades later. Wilson has no problem giving a $24 million dollar contract inexplicably to the virtually useless Chris Kelsay, but chafes at the idea of paying a comparable sum for a decent coach.

Only a retread that no other team wants, like Gailey, would come and work under those conditions. And that's all you're going to get so long as Wilson owns the team, and apparently still controls the personnel decisions.
