Drop Dead date just about here for the season and the progress to resolve this isn't there.
The hard line owners from the wealthier, established teams (especially Boston owner Jacobs) seem content to flush the season away and purge the weaker teams from the NHL. It's a heck of a gamble, with fan apathy seemingly very real but I expressed this very thought calling in on the Fan 590 in Toronto and had plenty agreeing.
The actual revenue sharing terms don't seem that difficult to resolve. We'll see.
