With today’s victory over the New York Jets the Buffalo Bills will official pick 8th in 2013 NFL Draft. Going into the game the Bills were picking 6th so the win cost us a net of two picks. This will be the 6th consecutive draft where the Bills have a first round pick inside the Top 12.

Because both Det and Phi lost we had no shot at moving up. So, we lost a total of 2, count em, 2 draft slots by winning.

At least 2 if not more. Considering there are 2 top QBs and then the value level drops for the rankings of each...it's unlikely we'll be getting a QB in the 1st rd despite our glaring need. But picking 2 positions up wouldn't have made the difference any way...

I know this is hindsight - 20/20 and all that, but we could have had Russell Wilson instead. Why get a speedy receiver to catch bombs from a QB who can't throw them???
