With today’s victory over the New York Jets the Buffalo Bills will official pick 8th in 2013 NFL Draft. Going into the game the Bills were picking 6th so the win cost us a net of two picks. This will be the 6th consecutive draft where the Bills have a first round pick inside the Top 12.

Trade down. Pick up an extra 2nd to get the QB and 2 LB's we desperately need.

Because both Det and Phi lost we had no shot at moving up. So, we lost a total of 2, count em, 2 draft slots by winning.

Dropping 2 spots was well worth beating those damn Jets. They've been manhandling us alot in the last couple of years. Felt good to beat their ass!!!

NOT THE DUDE...

Any position save RB, K, P is possible at #8.......TE & QB not there because value not there

DL, OT, WR, LB, or DB

This is a reach for both of them. Especially Glennon.

Anybody else notice the note about Graham? That's a scary percentage.

At least 2 if not more. Considering there are 2 top QBs and then the value level drops for the rankings of each...it's unlikely we'll be getting a QB in the 1st rd despite our glaring need. :( But picking 2 positions up wouldn't have made the difference any way...

No, what are you referring to?

I know this is hindsight - 20/20 and all that, but we could have had Russell Wilson instead. Why get a speedy receiver to catch bombs from a QB who can't throw them???

Werner, Moore or Okafor.
Lewan or Matthews.
Allen or Williams, but both are a 'reach'.
Te'o (PLEASE) or Mingo.
Milner (if he drops) or Banks.

No reason we shouldn't get a plug-in instant starter no matter which way we go.

Agreed............at #8 we must get a player that fills a need and contributes right away.

I wouldn't be against drafting a LOT and moving Glenn to ROT

I wouldn't be against drafting another big CB if it represented true value (pending what we do in FA)

I wouldn't be against drafting a DT either............Dareus showed little progress this year and lokks to be 20-30 lbs overweight.

Ultimately, LB Jones (ga) or Te'o (ND) would be my targets

I wouldn't absolutely rule out a QB at #8. I don't think it's the most likely pick at this point. Among the possible positions are DE, ILB, OLB, CB, and WR. I don't see DT, OT, G, C, TE, RB, or S. And just for the sake of thoroughness, it won't be a FB, P or K.

Wide Receiver
TJ Graham lead the entire NFL in drop percentage (12.73%) for any WR with more than 30 targets and he’s just not a guy you think of traditionally as an outside WR. The Bills need to add a big and athletic threat that can get vertical and give defenses match-up issues.

Even worse, why take a WR who can't catch the ball consistently?

Nobody cares if it's a reach if they become our long term QB. Would you rather do what we always do and wait for the player to drop and watch them go on to be successful for another team?

Glennon I dont think is worthy of a first round pick much less the 8 pick. So to answer your question I dont want to see them reach at 8 for a guy they could get at 2 or move back into the first at the end and get. I would rather fill two holes. I think Glennon will be a fantastic backup for many years I however do not think he has what it takes to be a franchise guy. You know how before fitz throws an int probably 85% of people can call it before the play even starts. I feel that way with glennon I watched almost every NC State game and while he looks the part I think he does an awful job of reading things and he has the same issue of fans calling out the int before the play even happens. I want to rid the Bills of that not be stuck with 5 more years of it. No thanks unless its in the 2-3rd round and he has someone to develop behind.

A proud Ginger-American.

More of a daywalker really.

Still.

Ever since the intrepid Andy Dalton broke the Ginger color barrier in the NFL, we now know some of these kids can play ball.
