A winter vacation: what a grand thought for many who long to escape cold and bitter winds slamming the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada in late December. A trip to a Florida beach, or perhaps the Carolinas for some golf and warm sun. But not Cleveland. You'd have to be crazy.
A few weeks before, the phone call had come from an old buddy of mine (a Vikings fan), now living in Montreal. "Why don't you meet me in Cleveland on the 29th? The Browns are playing the Falcons."...
