I'd be thinking that Russ will be going after a few marquee guys and that if they want complete control Nix may be out at that point.

My thought is that Nix isn't the power hungry control freak that would scare away a big name HC.

My thoughts exactly. A GOOD HC will want some say over the roster. I don't think Nix will have a problem with that. Like Bruce Allen, a GOOD GM that works well with GOOD Coaches, Gruden in Tampa & now Shannahan in Washington.

If Buffalo is actually after guys like Jon Gruden, then I wouldn't expect Nix to be fired yet. The big names like Gruden would want control of personnel too, most likely. So what happens in the FO depends on who they get as coach.

Also, frankly, I would not be too upset with keeping Nix as long as we get a good HC.
