Notre Dame coach talked about 4 two minute segments as being vital to the outcome of the game... The first two minutes and last two minutes of every half.

so far they lost the first segment... Badly.

and T'eo... Wtf?

Alabama's O-line is killing the Irish D.

Totally whiffed on the TD run. He was free to fill the gap, too.

Te'o had a good year but the Combines will completely humble him.

I am a ND fan but would never draft him in the 1st round.

I grew up watching the 'Catholics vs Convicts' games, so I'm happy to be a Convict tonight. We had a hated rivalry in the 80s and 90's that some of you younger Irish fans don't remember. It would be against my better judgement to hope Rudy gets a hard on tonight. Go 'Bama, **** Notre Dame. []_[]:peace:

Is this game over yet? This is college, things change. ND also has a championship virgin defense that's probably real nervous, they'll settle down & make a game of it (I hope).

If you saw the opening day game between Bama and Michigan, this isn't any different.

ND barely beat Michigan, Bama did the same thing it is doing tonight. Who you play really does matter, regardless of what some will argue.

PS. The Bama offense is going to catch hell from Saban at halftime over the last two series.

HE'S the college coach the Bills should have taken.

as far as T'eo... This game can take him from borderline top 5 to second round.

bama's oline warmack and the center... Legitimate first rounders.

For once don't take this the wrong way, but 2nd round? I wouldn't want this guy on my team in a clutch game EVER with how he's playing right now.

I'd rather have Sheppard, and that's saying something. Te'o looks just awful.

Yeldon is the best RB on Bama, and they're bringing three more into the next class (assuming they keep all of them). Don't know if Derrick Henry will end up at RB, but he'd work well behind Bama's OL either way.

??

There's a reason this will be Bama's 3rd national title in 4 years.

This is how they look in a nonconference game. (and most conference games).

But I agree with Brent Musberger, just how good is Johnny Football?

It will be interesting to see. Texas A&M is going to get decimated in the draft so they will be a shell of this year's team.

Does Saban have ND's playbook? Something isn't right here.

no... it does look it from time to time, but what i'm seeing is a ND team which is getting destroyed at the point of attack. About the only kid on that defense who's holding his ground is the NT... and Bama is running away from him. I'm shocked at how poor that defense is doing holding the point of attack. That's not the same defense that went toe to toe with Stanford or Oklahoma.

They were sloppy to start the game which gave Alabama lots of free yards, lost their balance, lost their footing, then the ball started to roll down-hill, and once Alabama got into the groove the ND defense never got their feet under them again. Start the game differently (3 and out) and i bet we see a closer game. ND just never recovered from that opening drive.

I've seen games, coached in games, played in games like this one. It sucks to be on the receiving end of a beating like this, especially when you know you're not as bad as the score shows.
