Re: Bob Sutton leaves Rex Ryan's staff

You'd almost think Rex Ryan would resign so he could put his application in for some of the defensive openings that are happening, if he could figure out who to submit his resignation to.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

Woody rubbed lots of cream on Rex's sack so I feel he's going no where this coming season.

They're leaving now because he's only going to make it there one more year.

Patience is one thing, foresight is another. Ryan tried to have patience with Sanchez and it's probably going to cost him his job that he didn't give up on him sooner. The NFL is too much of a "what have you done for me lately" league. If you're going to give a guy like Sanchez the keys you better have someone who can at least manage a game sitting behind him, aka not Tim Tebow.5

Anthony Weaver can be added to that list. DL coach has joined us here in Buffalo:

The good news about the Jets having clown cars around this season is that they enable more people to pile in.

Out of curiousity, I wonder if this was a guy we should have or maybe did consider for DC too. Looks like he was asst head coach/lb coach. Interesting that KC with Andy Reid liked him and maybe he had a closer relationship with Ryan and play calling etc. Not saying we fuct up with our decision to bringing Pettine, just seems like a question worth asking.

Rex had a guy in Tebow that could have taken that team to the playoffs. He will lose his job because he had too much patience with Sanchez & refused to play Tebow. Tebow could have saved the Jets season like he saved the Broncos season last year if he got the start after game 4.

The Jets are making me very happy.

Not only do they seem to be in cap trouble, but they fire their GM, keep Rex Ryan and then go looking for a GM that will promise to keep Rex Ryan as HC (for at least the next year). So they interview some top candidates that make me nervous, but then they start moving on to guys who don't. Then they interview Cam Cameron for the OC position and meanwhile most of their coaches are jumping ship.

I'd love for them to keep Mark Sanchez as starter for a few more years. Hopefully now we won't have the only defense in the pros that he can tear apart.

The Jets are not in Cap trouble, next year they will be in cap HELL. The contract the Bills gave to Fitz does not seem all that bad when compared to the contract the Jets gave Sanchez.

The Jets are losing GOOD Coaches & players before next season starts, can't wait for the Jets at the Bills next year. It would be a great opening game.
