Not done any research, but seems like an experienced guy with a decent track record.

Morris has guided an offensive line that paved the way for a top 10 rushing offense nine times in his 15-year NFL coaching career, including three years as the league’s best (1998, 1999 and 2007). Morris’ offensive lines also blocked for a 1,000-yard rusher 11 times in his 15 seasons in the NFL.

Curious where this guy was in 2012?

O-Line Rankings went from top tier early in his career to middle to lower tier later on.

I liked te offensive and defensive coordinators. Not too impressed with the position coaches and special teams coordinator
selected.

Looks like he has a ton of experience with coaching the line in a west coast offensive scheme. His lines have protected QBs Steve Young and Brett Favre.

So I know we did a complete coaching "flush", getting rid of the whole staff. Which was great. But I thought our O-line was pretty good this last year, even with injuries. I wonder how much that had to do with the (former) O-line coach and how our new one will do.

Joe D was a great O line coach. Marrone just wants all fresh faces with a new message and direction. Have to get the roster to refocus.

Hard to do with any holdovers if they show up acting completely different than last year.

Only problem I have with this guy is he looks like Jerry Gergich.

I know Joe D personally, on that note very sad to see him move one... But I also did think he was one helluva O-Line coach... Curious to see how the players react to this, seeing as the new guy was out of coaching last year, and Joe D was extremely well liked amongst the guys... Imo, one of the mistake hirings...

I'm with you. I know the new regime gets to pick its guys, but one exceptional position coach doesn't mean the culture of losing continues through him...so unless bridges were burned they should have at least tried to resign Joe D. WGR's got this new guy's o-line rankings up by year, and he's gone from producing elite units, to bottom third of the league, to out of football, to our OL coach.

I think Joe D did a great job with the Bills. We'll just have to see how Morris works out.

This OL is going to be working a lot on gameday. This is why IMO Levitre has to be re-signed. He's one of if not the best pulling OL players we have.
