Bills not as high on Nassib as they are thought to be?

Not surprised they didn't rank him as the best QB in mobile, that was Tyler Wilson with second place going to E.J. Manuel, pretty easily. The only thing that kept Nassib from being the worst QB there was the sheer ineptitude that is Landry Jones.

Do not like his deep ball at all, always tosses up floaters and doesn't have accuracy on anything he has to put air under. Have yet to see a deep pass where he put it on a dime, most of the time it was Alec Lemon (A sleeper 6th-7th guy who could surprise some people as a slot guy) making a good adjustment or slowing down.

If he didn't play for Syracuse I wouldn't want him until a mid-round pick. But, the unique situation with his learning curve for this team makes it attractive. How much so? I wouldn't draft him at 8. I'd be OK with the 2nd but really he should be a 3rd rounder.

I'v had him as a 2nd, 3rd round guy for the whole process, and unless he demonstrated a fix in his flaws, I wasn't going to push him back or forward any farther than that. I think he'd be a good day 2 pick, I like Dysert and Glennon more, not much frankly, but more. Some team WILL fall in love with his intelligence and intermediate arm strength though.

It's a weak QB class, and with his ability to transition to our no huddle quickly is a bonus, it's up for debate weather or not he can actually run the system effectively at this level. Personally I don't think he'll be a long term starter unless he manages to fix his deep ball. But if we drafted him in the 2nd or 3rd, I wouldn't be mad. We need a QB and he's one of the better ones in this draft. Personally while I'm an advocate of Minter or Millner at #8 because we need defensive help (Warmack if Levitre leaves becomes my #1 simply because a prospect like him comes around once a decade) and the only QB I really like there is Tyler Wilson, who I think some team kicks the tires on before us or trades up to get (*cough*Jets*cough*).

I just finished watching film on Nassib over at www.draftbreakdown.com (http://www.draftbreakdown.com)
They have five of his 2012 games on file, and I can tell you that I'm really not impressed at all.

Positives:
He certainly has an NFL capable arm, and has a very quick release.
I also like the way he moves in the pocket to avoid pressure, and keeps his eyes downfield throughout the play.

Negatives:
The guy's accuracy is borderline terrible. He has problems hitting receivers in stride, and almost every pass to a receiver over 10 yards is way off target. When he's forced to make a quick throw, many aren't even close. His decision making seems solid, but I worry that playing in the spread option, he wasn't asked to make a lot of reads.

And although his production has improved throughout his college career, his numbers really aren't that impressive.
