Dead even so far. Plus the shootout winner tonight. I think it will still be Hodgson but it will be nice if the trade works out as even for both sides.

Might be close on goals if Kassian can stay with the Canucks the whole year. There's no chance of Hodgson being reassigned and barring injury will outpoint Kassian for sure. I don't miss Kassian at all.

it will be close until something happens, and Kassians defeatist attitude come back and he gives up on the team

It will be close if he is playing with Sedin brothers. Taylor Pyatt got points playing with them.

That's what I mean. If he can keep up his play and just be ready to shoot. He is playing with the Sedin's. He could have a bunch. I hope he keeps it up.

Hodgson had a nice goal last night...into his own net.

Kassian had a goal tonight into the opponent's net. 5 on the season now. Hope we didn't reverse the curse of the Neely-Pederson trade.

Anyone who wouldn't want Kassian on their team, perhaps hockey is not your sport. His size and intimidation is real, his puck protection is NHL elite, and his hands are good enough to be sent out ahead of the Sedins for shootout. Talking **** about ex-Sabres doesn't change anything.

If he becomes a beast I'm blaming Ruff

If Kassian stays with the Sedins all year I don't think Hodgson will be able to catch up.

Kassian got paroled before Ruff could ruin him permenantly.

We needed the center way more anyway. It was a good trade regardless.

They took Kassian off the top line and he stopped scoring (Go figure) I think it was an experiment for the playoffs. Looks like Hodgson wins this round.

That is what happened with Luke Adam last year, and soon after he was in the minors.

and soon after that he will be out of hockey all together... can you get demoted out of the AHL?

Kassian has been a fast start at every level and then cooled off.

CoHo looks like a legit first line center, just need him to work on his defensive game.

If he scores 80-100 pts and sucks on D that's fine IMO.

And win a face off for the love of god. Every game I have seen, which is only a few, he gets torched in the circle.

He definitely could use some work on his faceoffs but hes gotten better since the start of the year. This team is so bad at face offs though that he's our best center at them....we got amazing value for Gaustad but this team still misses him as a defensive faceoff specialist.
