Here's a nicely written little article from a reputable media outlet (CBS, as opposed to some blog w/no accountability factor) that reminds us of the facts from 13 years ago, compared to the fiction that people often spew when hating on Ray Lewis. If you don't like RL because of his personality, that's one thing, but to call him out on this incident is absolutely false. Take a look:

Lewis was involved in the cover up of the double murder. Where's his white suit? He should of been charged with acessory to murder.

All this article is is someone from Baltimore presenting the facts in a nice manner. Did he kill the guys? YES. He then cooperated with the police, and if YOU read the article, it states that he plead down and became the star witness against his own friends...the only reason his own friends didnt go to jail for murder was that they didnt have enough evidence to convict them for anything.

nice whitewash. considering this was about as much of a streetfight as it was an abduction. Dude was abducted off the street, pulled into Lewis's ride then beaten to death by Lewis's 'entourage'. Lewis got out of it by testifying against his crew.

had they been able to tie any of the physical evidence to anyone, someone would be sitting on death row today. The problem the state had was there were 5 different versions of the story being told. and no evidence to nail down what happened and who did what.

Jeff, that article is far from the complete story.
I guess those who like him will defend him in this instance.
there are many public records available for this case if you want to waste your doing your own research.
i followed it when it was happening and came away with my opinion.
everyone is entitled to their own. But I think Lewis is a scumbag for many reasons.
the murder coverup is just one part.
the ******ed "look at me dance" he does is enough for me to think he is a jerk.

Yes and a few others about Lewis being involved in a double murder.

Where's his white suit?
How much did he pay the families?
His lawyers did a great job getting to all the were involved.

That article, from a Baltimore writer, hardly changes my opinion that he should have been charged with acessory to murder.

I read the article, & I saw NOTHING about the missing white blood soaked suit Lewis was wearing at the time of the murder. The article is just another persons opinion, nothing more. Nice PR job by Lewis, nothing more.

Here are FACTS:

Lewis was there when a person was killed. He was wearing a white suit at the time that has never been produced & turned over to the police. He paid off the family of the man murdered.
