Jim Kelly concussion calls same play

I'm trying to verify a story I heard about Jim Kelly many years ago. The way I heard it, Kelly got his bell rung on a 1st down play. He may have suffered a concussion, not sure. On 2nd and 3rd down he called the same play. Each time, the play was a bust but Kelly kept calling it. When one of his teammates asked him why he kept calling the same play Kelly responded "If I could think of a different play I'd call it..."

Does this sound familiar? Anyone know the game details? I've done a lot of digging online but can't find the details (opponent, date, etc)

"Jim Kelly got hit pretty hard and suffered a concussion," Reich said. "But no one on the bench knew it. He didn't know what to do so he called the same play four or five times in a row. It was a run and it worked, and we got down to the 15 or 20. We had to pass and he couldn't remember any pass plays, so he asked the running back -- I think it was Greg Bell -- to call one. He did. The pass was incomplete and they took him out of the game.

I remember one time where he had a concussion and went back to the wrong sideline as well. I think it was against NE, late in his career.
