Spiller: $1,300,834 to $2,623,334

Wood: $925,000 to $2.3 million

Moats: $630,000 to $1.323 million

Wilson: $2.45 million to $2.9 million

Explanation: If you notice that both Wood and Spiller salary escalators were almost exactly the ROR tender for RFAs of $1.323 million. Moats' escalator was to the ROR tender. This is common in nearly all rookie contracts to target the ROR tender amount for escalators if the escalator is part of the rookie contract

Moats at 1.3 should probably be cut.

Agreed. I don't see Moats getting enough playing time to merit that salary. Wilson is questionable too.

Wilson is also a "Captain" though.

2.9 Mil for Wilson ? He's terrible.

Guess which safety played for Pettine and is now an FA?

Jim Leonard.

Hehe, it would be funny to give him another shot here.

ROR is "Right of First Refusal".......it's the tender offer to RFAs that were undrafted

Sadly, no better options on the roster.

I dont think Searcy has been horrible. I wouldnt mind him getting some more time.

Aaron Williams needs to be a strong safety.

Aaron Williams needs to be a strong safety.

I would agree that he is the best option outside of Wilson currently on the roster, but he is by no means a sure thing.

He is a decent backup who is unlikely to be anything more.
