Good news for the Sabres. Senators are a good team, maybe they fall off a bit without him, and the Sabres play them 5 times. Spezza career has 49 games against Buffalo, with 22 goals and 40 assists for 62 points, and is freaking +19 with 13 even strength goals.

Hope he gets better, always liked as a player, but as long as he doesn't play against the Sabres!!

I wouldn't be so sure of that. They still have a lot of talent... Goalie playing at a Vezina calibre level right now and the reigning Norris winner.

A hot goalie alone could drag them there.
