"Cody plays 200 feet of the ice," Regier says. "His work ethic and compete has added to the chemistry of the line.

He must be talking about McCormick because Hogson is a defensive liability.

Why is Regier obsessed with the word "compete" as an attribute? And why does the team as a whole have very little?

Technically his game got better because he was playing under someone else, and ruff is letting it go so he can take credit, instead of turning him back into a useless Buffalo Forward.

If Vanek doesn't get 5 pts a game, this team is going to lose. He pretty much blew 20 games worth of goals in the first week of the season. High Draft Pick, here we come.

High draft pick? Good- we need to add two more 5'3" 140 lb hobbits so we have one for each line.

Both goalies right now make me cringe on every shot from the point, all may find their way into the net.

I've watched every game so far except the loss to Montreal, and in every game there is a point where it starts to feel like basketball. The Sabres are back on their heels and it feels like the other team is going to score every time they bring the puck into the Sabres' zone.
