6-5 sabres. because just when you have had enough, they keep pulling you back in.

i realize they are playing 8 games in 13 days and that they like to use whatever excuse for poor performances. i realize montreal spanked us without even really trying...but vanek keeps it going. this win glosses over the crappy goaltending and the excitement of end to end hockey quiets half the fans who should still be pushing to get lindy out of the organization, entirely.

classic. giving up a point. i see this scenario playing out with the sabres leading 3-0 going into the third. only to have it tied in the last second. and then vanek scores in a shootout.
