    NFL Franchise Tag Thread

    From now until March 4th at 4pm NFL teams can designate their Franchise Tagged players. Let's keep the list here.

    If a mod would be so kind as to update.

    Official List:

    Cinnci- Michael Johnson, DL
    Buff- Jarius Byrd, S
    Colts- Pat McAfee, P
    Chi- Henry Melton, DL
    Den- Ryan Clady, OT
    KC- Branden Albert
    Dal- Anthony Spencer
    Mia- Randy Starks

    Now any guesses?

                      Falcons and Cardinals are not expected to use their franchise tags.

                      Bears are likely to place franchise tag on DT Henry Melton.
                      Teams can start tagging today- What about Melton?

                      NFL teams can begin using franchise tags today, in anticipation of the start of Free Agency. The Chicago Bears are more than likely going to lock down DT Henry Melton, who made his first Pro Bowl after the 2012 season.
