Did guys like Bray and Glennon show better than expected in terms of athleticism you think?

Glennon and Bray both ran an official 5 flat for their 40 times. Glennon had a 10 yard split of 1.80 while Bray's was 1.72. Nassib ran what I thought was a fairly disappointing 4.84 with a 1.73 split. Geno Smith had the best 40 among QBs even though he's more known as a passer than a runner, 4.59 with a 1.59 10 yard split. Manuel was impressive for a big guy, running a 4.65 with a 1.63 10 yard split at 6'5" and 237 lbs.

A 4.21, Jesus. Just pure speed. Impressed with Markus Wheaton and his measurables. If he's there in the 2nd and we've already got a QB I'd take him in a heartbeat.

No QB stood out to me in the 40. They all did about what I expected.

EJ is as physically gifted as you will find in a QB. The question about him is can he live up to those physical abilties. One thing that makes me favor him as he's also been talked about as a leader etc. which is why I'd take a chance on him Round 2. The only thing that worries me is if he'll fit in a WCO type offense that we're expected to run. As in a WCO quick decision making and making throws on time with the belief your WR will be there is what makes you excel and not sure EJ has that.
