well, since no one is really adding to this...

Arthur Brown's Pro Day yesterday..

He didn't work out at the combine due to a shoulder injury...but weighed in there at 241, which puts him closer to the NFL level.

Speed was about as expected, ran in the 4.5-4.6 range.

Did 21 reps on the bench, which takes care of some concerns about his shoulder injury.

According to Tony Pauline, he was "sensational" in drills.

Chris Harper ran a sub 4.5 40. Reported as low as 4.38. He really doesn't play like he runs a 4.38..but it is clear he isn't slow. He's big and he's still learning the position though.

I'd suspect CIN has an eye on Brown. Thomas Howard is still recovering from an ACL - status unknown. 2nd year LB Vincent Rey looks to be a contender for some olb starts for them...why BUF didn't entertain him, instead of signing the mediocre Manny Lawson, I'll never know...

There's talk of Burfict moving to the middle, to replace Maualega, but he had a fine season outside. I wouldn't be surprised if CIN is eying MLBs in the draft. I prefer Minter over Ogletree.

Ouch...Jarvis Jones runs a 4.9

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/21/jarvis-jones-disappoints-at-georgia-pro-day/

The reviews are in from Georgia’s Pro Day, and while linebacker Jarvis Jones declared himself the best player in the draft afterward, most other observers weren’t so impressed.

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock reported from the Pro Day that Jones ran a 40-yard dash in the 4.9-second range, and that representatives of multiple teams were alarmed that Jones was that slow.

“I think a 4.9 is a red flag,” Mayock said. “I talked to a lot of coaches and scouts and they all said the same thing: ‘Wow. A lot slower than we expected.’”

I don't put stock in combine or Pro Day measurables, But Jones' 4.9 definitely is a shocker.

He tweaked his hammy on the first attempt, time isn't a huge shock. He was never going to blow anybody away in workouts.

I think his film will save him. He is a proven playmaker. That is a lot slower than I thought he'd run though.
