COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Former Ohio State football stars Jack Tatum and John Hicks have been friends for more than three decades. But their relationship didn't exactly begin on the best of terms.
Tatum, the former Oakland Raiders star, was two years ahead of Hicks when the pair roomed together. But instead of offering the wisdom and guidance expected of a senior, Tatum pulled rank.
"He took my car and wouldn't give it back," Hicks recalls. "He kept the keys. He gave me the opportunity to put some gas in it. I remind him of that from time to time."...
