As training camp gets closer and closer, the Eagles are attending to the business of building the roster and signing their draft picks.
Thursday, they accomplished one of those goals.
The team announced the signing of linebacker Jason Short to a contract. Terms were not disclosed. Short played with the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe this spring as a defensive end, but the Eagles project Short -- who played at about 255 pounds, not the 227 he was listed at on the NFL Europe web site -- as a potential SAM linebacker....
